Develop electrical designs, including lighting systems, power distribution, and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Create detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using CAD software. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to determine project requirements and specifications. Perform site visits to assess existing electrical systems and develop effective design solutions. Conduct thorough testing and analysis of electrical prototypes and installations. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare accurate project documentation, including bills of materials and cost estimates. Significant experience in electrical design, preferably within the energy sector. Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design, such as AutoCAD, ETAP or Revit. Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Knowledge of power distribution, lighting systems, and control systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design innovative solutions. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
