WALSTEAD BICESTER, one of the UK’s leading web offset printers, has the following vacancy for their site based in Bicester, Oxfordshire:
Electrical Engineer

21 shifts holiday.
Avg. 48 hours per week
12 hours shifts – Nights only 19.00 to 07.00
Working 4 shift pattern
Responsibilities:
Responsible for repairs and maintenance of all production related equipment, including breakdown repairs, fault finding and continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and general site facility tasks.
The successful candidate must have:
Relevant training NVQ/C&G Level 3 Electrical Engineering or have served an apprenticeship.
Experience working as an Industrial Electrical Shift Engineer. Any experience in the printing industry would be preferable but not essential.
Experience with maintenance programmes within a production or manufacturing environment.
Electromechanical skills a definite advantage.
Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination.
Knowledge of drives, PLCs and 24-volt control circuits.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential.
Demonstrate the necessary flexibility, enthusiasm and drive to work within a busy department.
