V7 are working with a longstanding client in the Water industry who are an Engineering specialist and currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer due to extensive growth.

On offer is a salary of £50,000-£60,000.

Responsibilities:

Liaise with client and application specialists during the tender/bid stage on design and specifications of control equipment and ancillary electrical works. Write control strategies and prepare supporting documentation as necessary to fully define project specific programming requirements. Monitor and advise on costs associated with electrical designs both at proposal stage and throughout the contract. Manage and issue to relevant parties electrical documents including control philosophies, FDS's, load schedules, cable schedules and wiring schematics. Provide miscellaneous technical support including field service to support plant commissioning, operator training and warranty commitments. Select process instruments. Design instrument loops and hook-ups. Production of Single line diagrams in sufficient detail to allow tender prices to be obtained. Carry out site surveys. Manage and co-ordinate Delivery of electrical scope of works. May be asked to lead projects. Checking and approving control panel drawings from sub-contractors. Production of load schedules and cable schedules.
