Reed Engineering is currently supporting a leading manufacturing company who, due to growth, are looking for an electrical maintenance technician to join their team. This is a day role, Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00. Skills: • 18th Edition (BS7671:2018) • NVQ Level 3 Electro Technical Services in Electrical or BTEC National Certificate in Electrical Engineering • Knowledge of PLCs, 3 Phase motors, fault finding & trouble shooting on industrial control systems, and understanding of electrical drawings. • Knowledge of building MMC panels is advantageous but not essential. • Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus of electrical systems including LV circuits, Electrical Motors, power and lighting, using test equipment. • Work in conjunction with the Electrical Supervisor/Electrical Manager in the implementation of an effective preventive maintenance program for all electrical components and systems. • Cooperate with other engineers in coordinating the electrical installation of specialized electrical components to the completion of the project. • Using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s installation guidelines to complete the project. Key Accountabilities: Carry out any reasonable duties as identified by your line manager or team leader. Positively represent ICL to our customers and suppliers. Ensure compliance with all contractual employment obligations and our ISO standards. Fully participate in the company's performance management and development programmes. Maximise own ability to produce quality work, on time, and to brief, utilising best skills and available technology. Work in accordance with the Company's Human Resources policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
