Reed Engineering is currently supporting a leading manufacturing company who, due to growth, are looking for an electrical maintenance technician to join their team. This is a day role, Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00.
Skills:
• 18th Edition (BS7671:2018)
• NVQ Level 3 Electro Technical Services in Electrical or BTEC National Certificate in Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge of PLCs, 3 Phase motors, fault finding & trouble shooting on industrial control systems, and understanding of electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of building MMC panels is advantageous but not essential.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus of electrical systems including LV circuits, Electrical Motors, power and lighting, using test equipment.
• Work in conjunction with the Electrical Supervisor/Electrical Manager in the implementation of an effective preventive maintenance program for all electrical components and systems.
• Cooperate with other engineers in coordinating the electrical installation of specialized electrical components to the completion of the project.
• Using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s installation guidelines to complete the project.
