Well established air handling units manufacturing company are hiring an experienced

Electrical Engineer

to join their installation team. Offered as a permanent contract, the role of Electrical Engineer provides an attractive salary range, company vehicle and phone.

Previous knowledge and experience of installing power and controls wiring is desirable and given the inherent risks involved in the role, an individual who prioritises safety and adherence to precautionary measures is essential. You will also be required to work away 2/3 times a week, travel time to site is payable working hours, overnight accommodation and food allowance is also provided.

Your duties as Electrical Engineer would include:

Execute plans of electrical wiring on all types of air handling units and other HVAC systems Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units Integration of new equipment into existing site equipment Test and inspection of all work carried out Prioritising health and safety and always adhering to precautionary measures Ensure that safe working conditions are always maintained

Successful candidates for the role of Electrical Engineer would require the following:

Proven experience as an Electrician/Electrical Engineer Electrician qualification in 18th edition is desirable Experience in HVAC controls would be an advantage but not essential Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings Ability to work without drawings Knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines Excellent thinking and problem-solving Modern apprentice trained or equivalent Full clean driving licence Available for some working away (2-3 days a week on average) Good people skills and able to work with customers to achieve the correct outcome

Location:

Bromsgrove, Worcestershire (Must be flexible as will be required to work away 2/3 days a week) Salary:

£16-£19 p/h depending on experience Benefits:

40 hours p/w
