Do you have what it takes to transform society? We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our innovative Building Services team. The role could be based in either London or Maidenhead but we work on a hybrid basis, which to us means at least three days in the office and the other two at home if you wish. What does the role involve?

As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you'll support the delivery of a wide variety of projects within a multidisciplinary design team for several key clients. You'll cover a range of activities from project feasibility through to detailed design and construction support. Key responsibilities will include: Producing design deliverables, including inter alia calculations, drawings, sketches and reports to achieve the optimum engineering solution for the project in accordance with IMS (Integrated Management System) and project requirements. Checking supplier proposals against project requirements. Liaising with and managing equipment suppliers during project execution. Managing budgets. Demonstrating commercial awareness in recognising risks and opportunities arising during project execution. Undertaking a client facing role and building long lasting client relationships. Supporting and driving our culture of client feedback, communication and improvement. To be successful in this role you’ll possess:

A recognised and relevant academic qualification such as a degree, HND or HNC. A recognised qualification and chartership/membership (or working towards) of an appropriate professional body such as CIBSE or IET. Experience in a similar role or you could have experience as a Graduate Engineer and be looking for your next step. A practical understanding of design and construction or building projects. Ability to produce functional and detailed specifications for overall electrical schemes and individual equipment packages. A good working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Clash Detection and Amtech.
