Electrical Engineer

to take a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions across brewing, distillation, and pharmaceutical industries. You will oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring designs meet high standards and deadlines are achieved. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale capital projects while managing multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities of this Electrical Engineer role: Design & Management :

Power (400Vac) control and communications cabling and containment design. MCC and control panel design, procurement, and build management. Process instrumentation design and procurement. PLC hardware design and procurement. Procurement and management of electrical equipment/materials.

Leadership & Collaboration :

Lead and mentor junior electrical engineers within the team. Act as a positive role model while providing technical leadership. Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Project Delivery :

Responsible for the full project lifecycle, from design to commissioning and handover. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring quality and timely deliverables. Supervise electrical installations and conduct testing and commissioning.

Client Engagement :

Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and managing expectations. Conduct on-site training for client operatives as required.

Typical Deliverables of this Electrical Engineer role: Preparation of electrical designs, drawings, and schedules using AutoCAD or ePlan. Specification and procurement of instrumentation, control panels, and PLC hardware. Development and monitoring of project programs and budgets. Finalisation and issuance of as-installed documentation. Desired Qualifications and Skills forthis Electrical Engineer role: Education : Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering (MIET preferred). Working towards IEng or CEng status is advantageous. Experience : Minimum 3 years in engineering within hygienic process industries (brewing, distilling, pharmaceutical, etc.). Proven ability to manage high-complexity projects or multiple less complex projects. Technical Skills : Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, ePlan, and related software. Knowledge of analogue and digital instrumentation, PLC hardware, VSDs, and process instrumentation. Familiarity with ATEX/SIL/Machinery safety standards. Competencies : Results-driven with strong attention to detail. Confident communicator, both internally and with clients. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Why Join?
