Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on overhead gantry cranes and related equipment. Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting, and electrical diagnostics. Ensure compliance with safety standards and nuclear industry regulations. Work on national projects, with travel and overnight stays as required (majority of work is in Southwest England). Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless operations. Requirements:
Experience: Proven expertise in overhead gantry crane maintenance and electrical systems. Qualifications: Electrical engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred). Valid industry certifications (e.g., BS7671 Wiring Regulations, LOLER knowledge is advantageous). Eligibility: Must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC) to work in the nuclear sector. Flexibility: Willing to travel and work away from home on national projects. Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety protocols.
