Datacentre Electrical Engineer

to join our seasoned team dedicated to delivering consistent and effective customer quality in Data Centre Services within Global Infrastructure Operations. In this role, you will provide support for the operations and maintenance of Data Centre Critical Facilities alongside a team of Technicians on a fixed-term contract. What You'll Do

Perform daily site checks on Critical M&E kit and site. Identify faults, log and escalate. Document and report on work completed to ensure compliance with Company and Customer Procedures. Carry out onsite general maintenance. Monitor Building Monitoring system for all site M&E. General site maintenance, tidying and maintenance of site. Project involvement when required. General knowledge of Datacentre power, UPS, Generators, CRAC, Breakers, Fuel. Working with third party M&E vendors providing site duties and overseeing work. Working alongside other Data Centre Teams. Writing/Assist in writing procedures. Reviewing/Approval of RAMS and Work permits. What You'll Need

Datacentre experience working within a Critical Facilities function/team is desirable but not essential. Electrical or Mechanical qualification/experience is desired. Either 17th/18th - Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations qualifications or the desire to undertake this course. IOSH management at work is desirable. Knowledge of Building Management systems, CAFM is desirable but not essential. Familiar with UPS, Battery, Generators, HV/LV switching, CRAC/Cooling systems, Fire control systems, Water Hygiene is desirable. Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, Teams. Working within a team environment but also able to lone work. TPBN1_UKTJ
