Electrical Engineer
Colchester Rewinds & Repairs Ltd are a well-established electrical and mechanical engineering company based in Colchester, servicing a vast sector of industries across East Anglia, providing our clients with a reputable and reliable 24/7 breakdown service.
We are seeking new members to contribute to our current electrical-based team and develop the workforce to supply the industry with a level of high expertise and reliability.
Responsibilities
Provide emergency electrical and mechanical breakdown service to our customers. Pre-planned maintenance across customer sites. Electrical and mechanical installations. Electrical and mechanical repairs. Electrical testing, condition reporting, and remedial repairs. Mechanical overhaul and inspection (workshop-based in-house training provided). Work closely with our existing workforce. Based in Colchester, working throughout East Anglia. Qualifications Required
Electrical qualification levels 2 and 3, NVQ level or equivalent. City & Guilds 18th Edition. Proven ability to work in a safe manner in accordance with company policies and safety legislation. Recognize the importance of keeping up to date with current sector safety legislation and requirements. Willingness to participate in any required training, which will be provided. Full UK driving licence. Job Types
Full-time, initial probation period of 6 months. Salary
Up to £40,000 depending on experience, with overtime available. Additional Pay
Overtime at competitive hourly rates. Benefits

Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Call outs after hours paid at overtime rates. Weekend overtime work. Experience
1 year of electrical engineering experience (required). Knowledge and understanding of electrical drawings. Experience in electrical installations design, build, and commissioning (single phase and three phase). Knowledge of electrical fault finding is advantageous. Job Type:
