We are seeking a talented and experienced
Principal Electrical Engineer
to join a leading client on a Pre-FEED and FEED project. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong background in power system design for energy transition projects. Key Responsibilities for a Principal Electrical Engineer : Develop conceptual designs for onshore and/or offshore energy transition projects Size and select 132kV / 11kV equipment, large frequency converters, AC/DC UPS systems, and other critical electrical infrastructure Contribute to the development of electrical philosophies for projects Perform Power Systems Studies (ETAP or equivalent) Oversee brownfield tie-ins at existing plants and ensure designs are integrated efficiently Essential Qualifications and Experience : Demonstrable experience in designing power systems for energy transition projects Proven expertise in Pre-FEED and FEED work Strong background in sizing and selection of electrical equipment, including high-voltage systems and frequency converters Experience in conducting Power Systems Studies (ETAP or similar) Ability to handle brownfield tie-ins within existing plant environments Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Working Arrangement : The Principal Electrical Engineer role is based in Leatherhead with possible hybrid working options (up to two days remote).
