Company: An established engineering and safety services company specialising in delivering complex projects for companies in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical and utilities sectors across the world.

The Electrical Engineer will be a key role within the UK business, working within the Control & Automation Department to manage and deliver projects and key customers. The position requires a broad EC&I engineering knowledge and experience in the range of technical roles and responsibilities carried out by this department.

Key Responsibilities as Electrical Engineer:

Lead and collaborate with electrical and automation engineering teams to ensure client needs are met in line with company quality standards. Design, implement, and manage electrical control systems, including the development of PLC I/O lists, electrical schematics, terminal lists, and cable schedules. Conduct site surveys, create specifications for procurement, and oversee the selection and installation of electrical components. Supervise electrical installation subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards, project timelines, and health and safety regulations. Support commissioning activities, including dry and wet testing, and provide final project documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications as Electrical Engineer:

Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of post-qualification experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel. PLC Programming knowledge and experience designing, installing and commissioning control panels. Strong knowledge of IEE Wiring and ATEX regulations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK and internationally.
