Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Temporary Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ipswich. This static role will primarily focus on daily reactive and routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities within a commercial building. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring incoming works, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, and maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine PPM tasks and address reactive work as needed. Supervise sub-contractors in accordance with company processes. Ensure complete statutory and non-statutory compliance at all times. Maintain up-to-date site log books and documentation. Keep plant rooms and work areas tidy and organised. Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating politeness and courtesy in all interactions.
Qualifications and Skills: Relevant electrical engineering qualifications. Previous experience in a commercial building maintenance environment. Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance processes. Ability to supervise and manage sub-contractors effectively. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
