cGBP35-45k neg dep exp + benefits Location: Leicester Our Leicester based client has been established for almost 30 years and specializes in the manufacture, installation, and service of a range of thermal management solutions to an impressive range of customers throughout the UK and Europe and for a diverse range of applications and industry sectors. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth for 2024 and beyond, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer - Research and Development to complement their professional team and support them in the design and development of a portfolio of solutions including air blast coolers, water heat exchangers, and recirculation chillers. Key Responsibilities: Create electrical schematics, ideally using AutoCAD Electrical. Possess practical experience of wiring and developing machines. Work with associated controllers and PLCs. Capture and analyze test data as required. Qualifications: Qualified to at least HND or above in a relevant engineering discipline (electrical, instrumentation & controls, mechatronics or similar). Demonstrate at least 3 years or more experience of performing electrical design and development activities within an engineering manufacturing environment. Additionally, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels (both written and verbal) and possess a positive 'can-do' attitude with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team when required, often within a pressurized environment.
