Key responsibilities include:
Leading building services design projects within a multidisciplinary team.
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Working collaboratively with other disciplines to develop integrated design solutions.
Proficiently managing design tasks through all RIBA stages, from initial feasibility and concept designs to spatial coordination, detailed design, construction oversight, and final handover.
Ensuring compliance with UK building regulations, standards, and codes.
Keeping up-to-date with developments in building services technology and industry trends, leveraging this knowledge to improve design practices and processes.
Required experience and skills:
A recognized degree in Building Services with significant experience in a similar role.
Actively pursuing IEng or CEng accreditation through CIBSE, IET, or IMechE.
Capable of independently managing all technical aspects of the role with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to clients and stakeholders.
Motivated and eager to develop professionally.
Extensive understanding of British Standards, codes of practice, and applicable design guidelines and regulations.
Proficient in key industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, Trimble Pro-Design, and Bluebeam.
