Winner Recruitment is working with an award-winning service provider to recruit an Electrical Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance and servicing of electrical assets such as emergency lighting, fire alarms, and generators, as well as looking after aspects such as fabric work and first fix of AHU. If you’re looking for a company that supports their engineers with further training and great benefits such as door-to-door travel paid, this is the role for you. Responsibilities:

Work nationwide performing a variety of electrical work across multiple industries such as healthcare, retail, education, and commercial sites. Perform various tasks including testing and inspecting, planned and reactive maintenance, and project work. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems in buildings, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency backup systems. Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes while maintaining electrical systems and equipment. Collaborate with project managers to plan, design, and implement electrical projects, ensuring they meet required specifications and deadlines. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, testing, and project work, including documentation for audits and inspections. Be prepared for occasional overnight stays to complete work the following day. Candidate Requirements:

Hold relevant qualifications in electrical installations (e.g., NVQ or City & Guilds). Possess strong knowledge of electrical systems. Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Be willing to spend the occasional night away from home.
