Salary:

£38,000 - £41,000 (+ on-call £150 per week once qualified and as required)

Job Purpose: Join a leading FM company, undertaking planned, reactive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks across the ExxonMobil Fawley refinery site.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves maintaining, refurbishing, and installing various electrical services, including emergency lighting, electrical LV switchgear, distribution boards, mains and sub-mains cabling, containment, lighting, and other electrical equipment. A solid understanding of three-phase motor control and instrumentation systems is essential. The candidate must be knowledgeable about inspection and testing procedures and certify works upon completion according to relevant certification. Tasks include completing reactive and planned service works issued via the helpdesk within set timeframes to meet client expectations and providing detailed reports on work completed, including breakdowns, hours, and materials used for accurate valuation. Responsibilities also encompass performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), proactive and reactive works, and maintaining knowledge of multi-disciplinary trades, including HVAC, plumbing, and heating services. Contractor control duties, ensuring equipment performance meets specified criteria, and providing a professional service that guarantees customer satisfaction are integral to the role. This position requires maintaining accurate administrative records, adhering to Health & Safety legislation and company policy, and following the on-call rota for additional payments.

Qualifications and Experience: Approved Electrician NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2391 / 18th Edition (required). Recognised Apprenticeship. Previous experience in building maintenance and minor works environments (required). Familiarity with HVAC equipment and controls (desired). Experience with LV motor controls and associated control panels (desired). Full, clean driving licence. Full disclosure is a contractual requirement. Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to work under pressure. Flexibility in work scheduling and excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in using computer systems/iPads to manage work schedules.
