Electrical Maintenance Engineer (weekends) - Mars Wrigley
£2,500 Welcome bonus
Plymouth (PL6 Estover)
Shifts: Sat & Sun rotating days and nights 6am – 6pm & 6pm – 6am + additional hours
£41,000 - £51,000 (Base plus shift pay inclusive) + Company bonus 8%

The primary responsibility of the role is to maintain plant equipment and fix mechanical/electrical issues sitewide. A strong electrical bias with control/automation skill will be required, along with an intermediate level of mechanical expertise.
What are we looking for?
Proven experience in diagnosing and fixing automation and electrical issues within an FMCG environment.
Experience in working with PLC’s.
An action-oriented, results-driven, problem solver that works well with people and can prioritize workloads with ease.
Higher National Certificate (HNC) in an electrical/automation or multiskilled engineering discipline is desirable, supported by suitable experience.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Perform fault diagnosis and resolving random failures on production machinery, such as automation, electrical and mechanical issues.
Detailed reporting and recording of maintenance work.
Drive reactive maintenance continuous improvement.
Undertake preventative maintenance activities, equipment checks, repairs, etc.
Conduct training and coaching of all operators, technicians, and apprentices.
Provide on-shift plant-wide support for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolution of Level I (PLC/Servos) and Level II (HMI) system related problems.
