We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Electrical Engineering Lecturer to join our academic team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach and inspire the next generation of engineers at Further Education (FE) level. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching in Electrical Engineering to FE students, including both theory and practical components. Develop and update course materials to ensure they are relevant and reflect current industry trends and standards. Support students with their academic and professional development, offering guidance and mentoring. Monitor and assess student progress through assignments, exams, and practical assessments. Contribute to the development of the curriculum and support the continuous improvement of teaching practices. Engage with industry links to ensure that the course remains aligned with the latest technological developments. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

A degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field) or equivalent industry experience. A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one, such as a PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent). Experience in teaching Electrical Engineering or a related subject, particularly at Further Education level. Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts and applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A commitment to delivering a high standard of education and student support.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience working in the FE sector. Industry-recognized certifications or experience in electrical installations, circuits, or renewable energy. Familiarity with using digital tools and platforms to support teaching and learning.
