Overview: First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit an Electrical Trainer on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Gosport depot.

As an Electrical Trainer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll deliver training course modules and supervise practical training in the Marine Refrigeration Arena. No prior training experience is required as we will look to develop you into the role if you have the necessary experience.

Day to day, you’ll deliver training in theoretical and practical technical training on Mechanical Refrigeration Engineering techniques, complex systems routines, maintenance, diagnostics and repair techniques.

Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality training in Electrical & Electronic principles, adhering to Company standards and contractual requirements. Follow the Training Plan and Sultan Training Standing Operating Procedures to ensure effective training delivery. Maintain and update training documentation to keep course materials current and relevant. Assess student coursework and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development. Implement and comply with Company security, health, safety, and environmental procedures to ensure a safe and secure training environment. Collaborate with the Trainer Training Team to continuously improve training methods and outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications: Previous knowledge in the application of electrical and electronic theoretical and practical instruction to phase two and three Electrical Engineering courses with an awareness of Electrical Theory, Electrical Safety, Power and Distribution, High Voltage, Electrical Test Equipment and Electrical Maintenance. Consolidated experience or directly employed electrical and electronic engineering principles. Be proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
