Electrical Estimator focuses on producing electrical tenders for commercial construction projects with values up to £15m.

What the role involves

• Producing electrical tenders for commercial construction projects with values up to £15m.
• Interpreting design drawings and specifications to create cost-effective and commercially viable tender submissions.
• Analysing labour, material, overhead, and subcontractor costs to ensure accurate project pricing.
• Communicating with clients, architects, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the tender process.
• Conducting site surveys and gathering information to support accurate cost estimation.

Skills and requirements

• Previous estimating experience on commercial design-and-build projects.
• Electrical engineering qualification (BTEC ONC, City & Guilds Level 3).
• 18th Edition regulations certified.
• Experienced creating tenders for sites with HV as well as LV requirements.

Confirmed role details

• Following a recent restructure my client is looking to recruit an Electrical Estimator on a full-time permanent basis.
• Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week.
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
• Statutory pension scheme.
