Is a new and upcoming MEP contractor based in Essex which currently turnover circa £5m and are part of a larger group that has a combined turnover in excess of £100m. They specialize within the residential and commercial sector. With a healthy order book and the backing of the larger group and an established client base, they are now looking for an Electrical Estimator who can grow with the company.
Position:
Electrical Estimator £55,000 - £65,000 + Package
Duties Include:
Producing complete electrical estimates from tender enquiry Using drawings and specifications to produce competitive tenders Taking off quantities off drawings/specifications/bills of quantities Ensuring that all bids submitted are technically correct Producing tender packages for subcontractors and reviewing returned documents for inclusion in main bid Involvement in finalization of tenders including value engineering suggestions, alternative manufacturer proposals etc. and transfer of agreed values into estimating system Review tender documents and provide necessary clarification
