We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in evaluating project costs and providing accurate estimates to ensure effective budget management. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of cost control processes and the ability to analyse various factors that influence project expenses. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, enabling them to contribute significantly to our projects' success. Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects by analysing drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimations. Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data that may impact project costs. Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing to provide informed estimates. Prepare reports and presentations summarising estimated costs for review by management. Assist in the development of project budgets and financial forecasts. Experience

Renewable or Solar experience is desirable. Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry is preferred. Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices. Proficiency in using estimation software and tools is advantageous. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. A relevant degree or qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
