Our Vacancy We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join our team. This is a key position within eSmart Networks, offering strong expertise in Estimating and leading bids for a wide range of customers within the Renewables and I&C sectors. Our Head Office is based in Braintree, Essex, but we would consider this role as a remote position with monthly office visits. So, what will you be doing? As an Electrical Estimator you will be working closely with our Business Development Managers and Designers to identify customer needs and provide customer tailored bids across the I&C and Renewable sectors. You will also: Identify customer’s needs through the bid process and ensuring any bid proposal clearly identifies the proposed solution. Provide guidance on bid positioning to ensure maximum margin whilst maintaining required win ratio. Secure profitable, deliverable orders that fully comply with eSmart trading practices and terms and conditions. Identify and resolve queries with the relevant parties. Attend pre-commencement customer project meetings where required. Work closely with the procurement teams to identify early project-specific requirements, including supply chain, sub-contractors, and procurement of supplies. What do we need from you? To excel in this role, the successful candidate must have experience within an Estimating role. Bringing your wealth of knowledge, we are also looking for someone with strong organisation skills and commercial awareness. Additionally, we seek: Knowledge of Estimating methodologies, design and techniques within LV, HV and EHV (desirable) An understanding of groundworks and/or utilities (desirable) Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
