Electrical Service Engineer (Automation) West Midlands (Field Based role with occasional trips to the workshop) Base Salary £43,680 (£21 per hour) + OTE £55,000 upwards - Overtime (1.5X Saturdays and 2.0X Sundays) + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Company Van + Fuel Card + Company Credit Card Salary based on 40 hours per week, with some flexibility required. Electrical Service Engineer with some mechanical and process skills required for a very stable company recognized as a nationally leading equipment supplier. The role will suit those looking to enhance their earnings with overtime. This is a service-based role with occasional in-house workshop trips to West Bromwich. The role will suit experienced electrical/automation engineers preferably with mechanical and process experience. You will be joining a successful and growing company that supplies a variety of equipment to clients nationwide, operating within various industries including Water Utilities, Food, Drink, Chemicals, Brewing & Pharmaceuticals. You will provide installations, commissioning after service, breakdown support, and refurbishment as well. Based from home, you will be required to receive instructions electronically. You will occasionally check into the West Bromwich factory to receive spares, tools, and training but most of the time you will attend customer sites. The Electrical Service Engineer Role:
Varied electrical and automation service role, commissioning, maintenance & breakdown repair Working on pumps, rotating machinery, decanter centrifuges, separators, belt and filter presses, and belt and screw conveyors Occasionally visiting the West Bromwich workshop to receive spares, tools, and training The Electrical Service Engineer Candidate:
Experienced Service Engineer with electrical skills. Electrical experience on equipment such as: electrical motors, PLCs, HMIs, Inverters connected/controlling preferably or similar to pumps, rotating machinery, disc separators, centrifuges, belt presses, and belt/screw conveyors. You must have automation test and fault-finding experience and the ability to set up motor drives/inverters. You will hold a qualification in a recognized training scheme (such as an apprenticeship or equivalent).
