Electrical Fitter Position
available for an engineering company based near Cheltenham. Paying self-employed rates of circa £16.00 per hour and £24.00 per hour for overtime hours. PAYE rates of £12.17 for standard hours and £18.26 per hour for overtime. This will be long-term contract work.
You will have a good engineering or construction background and previously worked in commercial, industrial, domestic, automotive, or aerospace electrics. Work is factory-based in one location. You will be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and have good attention to detail and organisational skills.
A recognised Electrical or Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or time-served experience is preferred. Electrical fitters or electrical installers for this company will need to have experience reading electrical wiring diagrams. Knowledge of Edition Wiring Regulations is desirable.
