We are seeking Marine Electrical Fitters to join our client's team in Helensburgh. This role involves critical maintenance and repair work on marine vessels, ensuring systems and equipment are operational and meet safety and quality standards.
Key Details Location: Helensburgh Duration: 3 months rolling Start Date: January Salary: £39 per hour (all hours) PAYE Umbrella Hours: Rotational 12-hour shifts (day and night patterns), with additional standard working hours depending on business needs.
Responsibilities Perform electrical fitting tasks, including inspections, fault finding, and repairs on various marine systems and equipment. Adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental standards on-site. Work in confined spaces and at heights as required. Maintain accurate records of work performed and training certifications.
Essential Criteria SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Valid certification for working at heights and confined spaces. Fit-to-work certificate issued by an occupational health practitioner or GP. Ability to undertake comprehensive electrical fitting tasks to a high standard. Full SC clearance in place prior to starting.
Preferred Criteria Experience in ship or marine vessel maintenance or construction.
