SRG are again delighted to be working with one of the most innovative biotechnology companies in Europe who have developed a renewable process which produces industrial chemicals for use on a global scale.

After years of process and product development in academia and as a stand-alone company, they have opened their commercial plant and are shipping their product out to their multi-national customer base.

As part of their strategic growth, they are looking to recruit an electrical, instrument and controls (EC&I) engineer.

The Role

As EC&I Engineer, you will join the organisation's engineering & project delivery teams, playing a key role in the design, development, and commissioning of new commercial plants. You will be involved in producing EC&I design and evaluating work produced by other team members/contractors, ensuring it is compliant. You will be involved in the selection and specification of hardware including pressure/temperature/level instruments and control valves. On top of the design for new plants, you will also be responsible for electrical design support for existing plants as and when required.

The Right Person

Demonstrable industrial C&I experience Relevant qualification in electrical engineering (or similar) Experience with electrical design tools (AutoCAD or similar) Knowledge of ATEX/DSEAR standards Willing and able to work in sites in Edinburgh & Grangemouth
