Electrical Lead Required in Cardiff We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to oversee the electrical aspects of a pharmaceutical project in Cardiff. This is a 6-month rolling contract offering an exciting opportunity to lead and manage electrical installation and commissioning works within the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will have previous experience in pharma projects and be well-versed in the high standards required in this highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead the electrical team on-site, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of electrical systems installation for the pharmaceutical project. Oversee the electrical design, installation, and commissioning of systems in line with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and other relevant pharmaceutical standards. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that electrical work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor electrical installations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and health and safety requirements. Prepare, review, and approve technical documentation including risk assessments, method statements, and test plans. Review and approve electrical designs and ensure compliance with technical specifications. Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions to ensure the project progresses without delay. Liaise with clients and stakeholders for project updates and to ensure expectations are managed. Mentor and support junior electrical engineers and technicians on-site. Requirements: Proven experience as an Electrical Lead in the pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry. Strong technical knowledge of electrical installations, systems, and commissioning processes. Experience working in a pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment, with a good understanding of GMP and other relevant standards. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, teams, and subcontractors. Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering (HNC/HND or equivalent). Previous experience in delivering electrical systems for pharma projects is essential.
