As an Electrical Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and training to students enrolled in our electrical courses. You'll help develop their technical knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to succeed in the electrical industry. Your role will involve supporting learners at various stages of their training, ensuring they achieve their qualifications and are well-prepared for employment or further study. Your Key Responsibilities:

Delivering engaging lessons that meet course objectives and reflect current industry standards. Teaching a range of topics, including electrical installation, wiring regulations, testing and inspection, and more. Assessing students' progress through practical tasks, coursework, and examinations, providing constructive feedback. Supporting students in developing the skills and knowledge required for successful careers in the electrical trade. Designing and developing teaching materials and lesson plans to enhance the student learning experience. Staying up to date with industry developments and integrating these into your teaching. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. About You:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic electrical professional who is passionate about teaching and has the ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their potential. To be successful in this role, you will need:

Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Electrical Installation or equivalent). Industry experience in electrical installation or related fields. A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or a willingness to work towards one. A strong understanding of industry standards and regulations (e.g., 18th Edition Wiring Regulations). Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the welfare of students. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
