to oversee, troubleshoot, and improve the mechanical and electrical systems in a heavy engineering manufacturing plant. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal performance, efficient production, and minimal downtime through technical expertise and proactive problem-solving. Who This Job Would Suit: This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer with a strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical systems, especially within a
heavy manufacturing
or industrial setting. A practical problem-solver with a commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement will excel here. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery. Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, ensuring safety compliance. Maintain mechanical components and utilities, including conveyors and compressors. Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance. Lead installation projects for new equipment and manage contractor oversight.
