A global manufacturer of a wide range of high-quality products for the aerospace and defence sectors, is seeking an electrical maintenance engineer to join their well-established team. With a superb manufacturing facility that includes a variety of automated and semi-automated machinery, this role offers extensive training and personal development, along with 16 maintenance engineers across the shifts, which means plenty of internal support. This position offers a salary of circa 44K plus overtime, bonus, and an amazing benefits package. Responsibilities for the electrical maintenance engineer include:

Providing electrical maintenance to a range of machinery including CNC, manual, robots, conveyors, moulders, furnaces, and finishing equipment. Reacting to urgent breakdowns, reducing machine downtimes to a minimum. Performing electrical repairs to motors, drives, inverters, encoders, boards, wiring, switches, relays, contactors, and sensors. Conducting PLC fault finding to trace back faults. Following PPM's to ensure all equipment is routinely serviced and inspected. To be successful in the role of electrical maintenance engineer, we're looking for:

Previous experience as an electrical maintenance engineer, maintaining production machinery. Apprentice trained, along with a recognized electrical engineering qualification. Ability to carry out repairs and breakdown response effectively and through PPM's. Understanding and interpreting electrical drawings. Flexibility towards working a 3 shifts rota. Benefits include:

Discounts and high street vouchers. Regular team social events. Initially, the role would start on morning shifts for the first 3 months during training. Once trained, the position would then move to 40 hours per week rotating Morning, Afternoon & Night Shifts Mon to Fri (other than nights which is across Mon - Thurs only).
