What the role involves

• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair electrical faults on manufacturing machinery.
• Perform calibration, validation, and corrective adjustments on devices such as load cells and temperature controllers.
• Provide engineering support to production to improve machine output.
• Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Work alongside the on‑site project team to develop new or improved electrical control systems.

Skills and requirements

• Knowledge of current electrical installation standards (desirable but not essential).
• Knowledge of ATEX zoning and hazardous environments (desirable but not essential).

Confirmed role details

• Continental shift pattern – 12‑hour shifts rotating days and nights.
• £50,793.68 – £57,528.97 , inclusive of shift allowance, DOE.
• This is a site‑based, hands‑on role focused on maintaining and improving electrical systems that support a high‑performance manufacturing operation.
• Provide electrical engineering support to ensure production equipment, facilities, and services are maintained to a high standard.
