Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Hours of Work: 39 hours per week About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our clients team in a busy production environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our machinery, including Negri Bossi machines and Engel machines. This role is split between rapid response to machine breakdowns (50%) and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) (50%). You will also contribute to general factory maintenance and installations, repairs, and servicing. Working closely with the tool room and production teams, you will ensure that all activities adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Key Responsibilities: Machine Maintenance:

Rapid response to breakdowns to minimize downtime, ensuring production schedules are maintained. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM):

Execute scheduled maintenance tasks to enhance machine reliability and longevity. PLC Work:

Maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC systems, including Allen Bradley and Siemens. Factory Maintenance:

Carry out repairs, installations, and servicing across the facility as required. Collaboration:

Work closely with the tool room, production team, warehouse, and other departments to achieve smooth operations. Health & Safety:

Maintain compliance with all health and safety protocols during maintenance and repair work. Reporting:

Accurately document all maintenance activities, including breakdowns, repairs, and PPM. Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Electrical Maintenance Engineering. 18th Edition Electrical Qualification. Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in injection moulding. Hands-on experience with Negri Bossi and Engel machinery is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and robotics a distinct advantage. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities for electrical and mechanical issues. Attributes: Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Proactive approach to maintenance and safety practices. What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience. Early finish on Fridays.
