Our client is a well-established, successful manufacturing company, commutable from Doncaster, York, Wakefield, Leeds, Scunthorpe, West Hull, Goole and Selby to name a few.
The role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be to oversee production shifts, ensuring operational efficiency and providing immediate assistance for breakdowns.
Responsibilities: Conduct both reactive and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment. Monitor plant performance to pre-empt failures. Collaborate with supervisors and contribute to improvement initiatives. Participate in project discussions. Provide electrical support during shutdowns.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Time served or suitably recognised qualifications in production or electrical engineering. Demonstrable practical experience in both reactive and preventative electrical maintenance. Computer literacy. Understanding of basic programming to allow fault PLC finding. Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate risks to safe levels.
