2 shifts – Monday to Friday - 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm. (9am finish on Friday) Overtime available (mid-week = time & half / weekends = double time) 34 days holiday Access to life insurance THE BUSINESS Our client is a component supplier to the energy transition market and is aiding the evolution of key clients into the renewables space. The organisation has a long-standing history in the region with low attrition rates and the majority of employees holding long service awards. This is a high-tech facility employing around 200 staff. The organisation is on an upslope supporting energy transition and has strong demand for its products within emerging markets. The business operates on principles of fairness, a robust support network, trust, and mutual respect. The company’s products are sold globally. Within this organisation, you will be treated as an individual, hold autonomy regarding decision making, and be part of a close-knit team driving the business forward. Westray Recruitment Group is seeking to recruit an Electrical Team Member (Maintenance) to work a 2-shift pattern on a permanent contract based in the Teesside area. The successful applicant will join a company with world-class manufacturing capability and a skilled workforce with a long history and global recognition. THE ROLE Working effectively within a team. Industrial/domestic wiring. Hydraulic and Pneumatic Control Systems. Overhead Cranes & associated safety systems. PLC's, primarily Allen Bradley and Siemens. Expertise with AC and DC motor/gearbox drive systems of various configurations. Variable speed motor control with inverters and converters, including speed feedback devices. THE PERSON Completed an electrical apprenticeship. Worked in a multi-skilled environment within a heavy engineering manufacturing setting. A systematic approach to problem solving. Good interpersonal skills. Knowledge and use of computer-based maintenance software.
