Electrical Maintenance Engineer
PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS A NIGHTS ONLY ROLE!! We currently have an opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team to work at one of London's most iconic airports. The role will be to support the team in delivering electrical maintenance across the Terminal. We are looking for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work with a range of clients carrying out the following, but not limited to: Electrical safety checks Annual visual inspections of DB's Emergency lighting checks Hand dryer inspections Central battery unit visual inspection Reactive repairs - replacing sockets, light fittings, re-lamping, fault finding to name a few UPS monthly checks As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you must be able to work to high levels of health and safety, have an understanding of and be able to follow building statutory requirements, and ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme. You should hold a full, current driving licence, be IT literate for record keeping, have good customer service skills, and be physically able to carry out the full duties detailed in the job description. The ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer would have a background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector, or similar, and be qualified to either Level 3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 18th edition.
