Electrical Maintenance Engineer

£31,271 pa - plus shift & call out allowance (Guaranteed salary £36,173) Overtime available:

Generations People is recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a global manufacturing company with an established and stable engineering team based in Mansfield. This role requires competence in working with minimal supervision, self-managing workload, and collaborating with an engineering team. Responsibilities include planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance across all disciplines. Responsibilities:
Electrical controls, PLCs. Routine planned and preventive maintenance. Fault finding & diagnostics. Monitoring and control of utility systems. Variable speed drives. Completing basic reports. Call outs - 1 week per month, including site visits over the weekend. Using power and hand tools for machine repair, electrical, electronic, and maintenance tasks. Qualifications & Experience:
HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering. 18th Edition IEE Regulations. 2 years in Site Services (ideally utility experience but not essential). Experience in production and/or manufacturing. Experience with PLCs, variable speed drives, compressors, boilers, water treatment plants, and fire sprinkler systems is an advantage. Skills Required:
Basic reports & PC skills (Microsoft). Good communication skills. Ability to work on own initiative. Team player. Flexible.
