Electrical Maintenance Engineer
to ensure all machines are maintained safely & efficiently, in accordance with all legislation and legal responsibilities.

You will be working night shifts, 22:00-06:00, with overtime available.
Core Responsibilities:
Dealing with machine breakdowns to ensure that the site can maximise throughput and meet customer demand. Reactive, proactive, and planned maintenance across a wide range of factory equipment to support plant uptime. Maintaining site services and facilities. Focussing on saving costs on maintenance work and contributing to cost reduction initiatives. Planning and managing individual and team projects. Ensuring Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards are adhered to including the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001.
Qualifications:
Strong practical and legal knowledge of Mechanical engineering/maintenance. Level 3 electrical engineering qualification or equivalent. Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of extrusion, mixing & blending machines is advantageous but not essential. An understanding of product and process quality requirements and how machine condition impacts on these. Knowledge and the ability to apply the techniques of Planned Preventative & Total Productive Maintenance to improve machine condition, improve product quality, and reduce downtime. The ability to read engineering drawings.
