The group is a well established producer to the world markets, having plants across the globe; employing over 10,000 people and they have been established over 80 years. The site in Sheffield is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this secure organisation. Key Skills Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer Have Medium to Heavy Industry Experience Knowledge of Cranes, AC/DC Equipment & PLC’s The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards, working on several electrical areas within a heavy machinery environment. The ideal candidate will come from a medium to heavy engineering background, but this is by no means a necessity and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with an electrical bias. Also, able and willing to be involved in general electrical work such as; PLC systems, AC & DC equipment, single & 3 phase motors, invertors, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other manufacturing heavy machinery, all within a structured PPM system. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
