The company is a well established producer to the global markets, with over 10 years of experience, having plants in the UK, Europe, Asia and America. The Worksop site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation. Key Points Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical. Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery Understanding of PPM Systems The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on several manufacturing processes, driven by automated machinery on site. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with an electrical bias, but ideally multi-skilled and have automated machinery experience, such as PLCs, servo drives, conveyors, presses and coating machinery. You will also be able and willing to be involved in general mechanical work on pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other manufacturing heavy machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
