Electrical Maintenance Technician - Shift focuses on holder will effectively drive engineering activities at biffa mbt facility to deliver all operational aspects of the facility.

What the role involves

• Holder will effectively drive engineering activities at Biffa MBT facility to deliver all operational aspects of the facility.
• Process improvements are carried out and implemented in a timely manner.
• The idea candidate will have experience of working in a similar environment, so either manufacturing or industrial or automated, supporting maintenance work. You must be electrical.
• Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported immediately.
• Ensure housekeeping is maintained to high standards.
• Motor electrical and mechanical fault finding, familiarity with MCC layout of panels.

Skills and requirements

• BS7671 18th edition (advantageous).

Confirmed role details

• Help us make a difference as a Shift Electrical Technician at our West Sussex MBT/AD facility.
• £49, per annum raising to £52, after 3 months successful probation.
• Shift Pattern is 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights and 4 off) 0630 - 1830 & 1830 - 0630).
• Holder will drive best practice on a shift basis through high engineering, compliance and H&S standards.
