Training period (first 2-4 weeks): 6:30 am - 3:30 pm (Mon-Fri) Shift (after training period): 6:30 am - 6:30 pm working 4 days on 4 days off Standard hours per week:
46 hours per week. Rates: Training period (first 1-4 weeks): £17.20 Umbrella or £12.67 per hour PAYE + Overtime & Shift rates

About the opportunity: Mechanical & Electrical Technicians required for a manufacturing company based in Crawley.
Role & Responsibilities:
Build and assemble various types of special purpose machinery. Precision fitting and assembly work. Point to point wiring, cable crimping and terminating work. Building and assembling various types of machinery. Must have previous experience of building and assembling special purpose machinery. Work to very tight tolerances. Previous experience of working with vacuum systems will be an added advantage. Building/fitting special purpose machinery and complex sub-assemblies from scratch. Fitting of sub-assemblies. Use a variety of hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, ratchet sets, along with power tools. Competent in using measuring equipment such as Verniers & Micrometers.
