Main Purpose To support their line manager in the delivery of the FM contracts.

Experience in a school & office environment is advantageous.
IEE Inspection & testing qualification, such as City & Guilds.
Understanding of asset management principles and maintenance techniques.
A strong working knowledge of Health & Safety principles including Risk Assessment, COSHH, etc.

Essential Qualifications Qualification should be NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification with 18th Edition.
Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out other basic handyman duties.
Carrying out reactive tasks assigned via the Help Desk ensuring compliance with company standards and reaction times, including electronic paperwork via PDA and hard copies.
Achieving SLA’s set by the Contract Manager, working in conjunction with Supervisors.
Carrying out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) in a timely fashion and in line with our daily working procedures.
Ensuring stock levels are maintained, ordering required stock to ensure the sites continue to operate.
To understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
Comply with company Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
Carry out troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Participating in the provision of a 24-hour emergency on-call service as required.
Assist Contract Manager with Sub-Contractor management and monitoring.
Be prepared to work overtime where required to support the contract.
To ensure that tools, equipment, and materials are available as and when required.
Ensuring that records are kept up to date as required, including electronic and paper copies.
To work safely at all times, adhering to site procedures and rules, taking necessary measures to protect yourself and others.

Skills, Knowledge & Attributes
Formal technical education in Electrical discipline to a minimum of ONC level or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in an FM or building services maintenance position.
Or an experienced tradesperson with at least 5 years post-apprenticeship experience in their trade and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an FM or building services maintenance position.
Conduct yourself in a professional, appropriate, and courteous way to all staff, clients, and colleagues.
Able to pass Enhanced DBS checks.
