Excellent communication skills including verbal and written. The ability to form relationships with clients and exceed customer expectations. Approachable demeanor and a demonstrable commitment to team working. A track record of delivering similar roles. A commitment to continuing professional development. Willing to become site Approved Person Electrical (LV) after training. Essential Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification with 18th Edition. Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out basic handyman duties. Complete reactive tasks assigned via the Help Desk ensuring compliance with company standards. Achieve SLAs set by the Contract Manager, working in conjunction with Supervisors. Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) in a timely manner. Maintain stock levels and order required stock. Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time. Comply with company Risk Assessments & Method Statements. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. Participate in a 24/7 emergency on-call service as required. Assist the Contract Manager with Sub-Contractor management and monitoring. Be prepared to work overtime as required. Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available for effective contract delivery. Keep records up to date, including electronic and paper copies. Work safely at all times, adhering to site procedures and rules. Formal technical education in Electrical discipline to a minimum of ONC level or equivalent with at least 3 years relevant experience in an FM or building services maintenance position. Or an experienced tradesperson with at least 5 years post-apprenticeship experience and relevant experience in an FM or building services maintenance position. Conduct yourself in a professional, appropriate, and courteous manner to all staff, clients, and colleagues. Able to pass Enhanced DBS checks.
