Job Description

Working on behalf of our client based on a project in Wrexham. We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Package Manager on a permanent basis. Role Overview As Electrical Package Manager you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical systems for complex construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of electrical works, on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Whilst our clients offices are located in Greater Manchester, you will be based on a site in Wrexham for your first 18 months. Key Duties Oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical works on projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clients, contractors, and design consultants, to ensure seamless project execution. Manage budgets, monitor costs, and maintain schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Enforce high-quality standards by conducting regular inspections, reviewing drawings, and ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations. Ensure all activities adhere to safety policies, including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS). Provide technical input and troubleshooting support for electrical systems and related challenges. Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and ensure proper documentation for project handovers. What we are looking for in the successful candidate: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years in electrical package management, preferably in large-scale industrial projects. Experience with projects in the food industry would be very advantageous. Expertise in electrical systems design, installation and commissioning. Strong project management skills.
