Project Engineer (Electrical) Sandown / Isle of Wight The Role We are currently recruiting for Electrical Project Engineer to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team on the Southern Water Framework, based at our site in Sandown. You will be reporting to a Project and Contract Manager and will be responsible for supporting all technical and commercial aspects of Electrical installations on site. Candidates will be qualified in Electrical Engineering but should have a good appreciation of electrical and civils professions. Responsibilities: Attend internal and external design review and progress meetingsReview electrical & mechanical design documentationReview specifications and outline/detailed designsProcurement of Electrical & Mechanical Equipment and support for subcontract procurementEnsure that site installation works and quality match both design and appropriate industry standardsRecord and Review as-built informationProduction of Risk Assessments and Method StatementsProgramme UpdatesProcurement schedules Qualifications/Competency: Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical EngineeringWater Engineering background preferred but not essentialGood working Knowledge of Safety, Health Environment and Quality ProceduresMicrosoft Office and CAD packagesGood appreciation of Excel to a ‘Higher’ level About Trant: Trant Engineering has a long history of engineering and construction excellence, delivering high quality EPC engineering and construction services throughout the UK and overseas.
