Electrical Project Manager

to oversee multiple projects, based at their Cheshire office. This is a company who look to offer a lifelong career.

Working closely with their Electrical division, your main responsibilities as an Electrical Project Manager will be to successfully deliver projects across the North West across our clients commercial healthcare and educational sites.

Main responsibilities for the Electrical Projects Manager:

Oversee the project and contract management of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, while upholding site safety and maintaining high-quality standards. Work closely with the Mechanical division to ensure the successful completion of joint projects. Assist in preparing electrical and M&E tenders for both pre-designed and design & build projects, and manage the contracts once awarded. Support the business in client meetings and tender presentations to help secure new business opportunities. Monitor and report on project performance, identifying projects at risk and proposing solutions to achieve project goals. Manage contract administration, including project documentation, schedules, and overall budgets, and ensure a robust document management system is in place in line with company standards. Assess potential opportunities and collaborate with the senior management team to identify and pursue strategic initiatives. Supervise a team of subcontractors, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements across all sites. Lead a team of employed engineers, including direct line management, performance reviews, mentoring, and fostering team development. Take charge of managing labour resources across multiple sites to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion, including managing subcontractors. Champion health, safety, and compliance improvements, conducting regular site safety inspections and embedding best practices throughout the organisation. Negotiate favourable rates with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing is consistently achieved.

Requirements for the Electrical Project Manager job:

Previous experience in similar Project Management positions Experience in managing multiple projects at once Strong client facing skills A solid background in Electrical Engineering
