Electrical Project Manager (Building services) Hinkley Point, nr Bridgwater Full time, Permanent 9 day working fortnight. (37 hours on average) Hybrid working opportunities. Circa £70,000+ £5,500 Car Allowance

25 days holiday + Banks, Enhanced Pension Contributions. We are partnered with a tier 1 engineering services provider who are part of the exciting Hinkley Point C nuclear power station build. They are currently looking to add an electrical project manager from a building services/electrical installation background to their team on a full time, permanent basis. The Role: Driving the delivery of the contract or package activities to ensure they are delivered safely on time, to budget, meeting business & technical requirements.

Developing and implementing strategies and plans in line with the overall programme execution plan (PEP), setting out how the programme of work will be managed, organised, and executed.

Monitoring and manage the progress of the programme - track progress against milestones, deadlines, budget and provide key stakeholders with reports on these matters.

Display a broad understanding of building services electrical systems infrastructure, protection & distribution requirements, commercial construction industry practices, construction contracts and budget/schedule management.

To engage and communicate with stakeholders to ensure that accurate timelines are maintained, and tasks delivered.

Lead motivate and develop teams to drive projects and exceed expectations.

The Requirements: Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering

Professional Qualification in Project Management such as APM PMQ or other recognised qualification.

Track record of delivering projects in complex environments, from concept to handover, within a technically complex and dynamic environment.

Previous experience working on large scale building services electrical installations.
