Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a £1 million ward refit project. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Project Manager and will be responsible for the management and coordination of all electrical aspects of the project from start to finish. Candidate must have an ECS Gold Card as part of the site requirment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, execution, and completion of electrical works for the ward refit project
* Manage electrical sub-contractors and ensure work is carried out to specification, on time, and within budget
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and project quality standards
* Coordinate with the Senior Project Manager and other team members to ensure the project runs smoothly
* Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Senior Project Manager and key stakeholders
* Oversee procurement and resource allocation for electrical systems and materials
* Manage project risks and resolve any issues as they arise
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally within healthcare or similar sectors
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and industry standards
* Candidate must have a ECS Gold Card
* Experience managing electrical projects of similar size and complexity
* Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project documentation
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, City & Guilds)
